“Hokuto ga Gotoku” Game Lightly Slapped With a Delay in Japan

Fist of the North Star will now meet Yakuza style gameplay on March 8

Fist of the North Star fans hoping to A-TATATATATA-TA! their way through the Yakuza team’s Hokuto ga Gotoku game will have to wait just a little longer to get in on the action. Previously set for a February 22 launch, Sega gingerly tapped it with a delay that pushes it back to March 8.

The delay will give them time to improve the PS4 game’s quality. While we wait, here’s an updated promo to reflect the new date.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri.: Loss

Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. local time

After the “reboot” and Meicoomon’s rampage, Tai and friends arrive in the Digital World. They reunite with their partner Digimon, who have lost all their memories. As everyone discusses what they should do from within the Digital World, Meicoomon suddenly appears and then disappears. She still has her memories for some reason. Meanwhile in the Real World, Nishijima receives word that Himekawa has gone missing. As he investigates, he determines that there’s been some hidden agenda behind her behavior that has to do with a past event that determined both their destinies.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri.: Coexistence

Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. local time

Meicoomon once again begins to rampage when she sees her partner Meiko injured by a mysterious man. Meicoomon, who disappeared into the Real World, is a distortion itself—in possession of too much power, and a key to destroying the world. The arrival of rampaging Meicoomon starts the countdown to the Real World’s collapse. A series of abnormal phenomena occur all over the place. The Digimon who appear through the distortions were waiting for this time to come. The DigiDestined are cast out of the Digital World when it goes out of order, and after returning to the Real World, are driven away by people on account of their accompanying partner Digimon. Meanwhile, a cruel fate is imminent for Kari.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri.: Future

Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. local time

In this climatic finale, the DigiDestined have suffered; friends are lost, there is a new threat from a mysterious and newly formed Digimon, and the Real World is threatened to be swallowed up by the Digital World. The DigiDestined must stand together to save their friends and our world.

“Nichijou – My Ordinary Life” Author Congratulates Anime Cast Members On Marriage

“Nichijou – My Ordinary Life” Author Congratulates Anime Cast Members On Marriage

Voice actress Kaori Sadohara has announced her marriage to 41 year-old voice actor Yoshihisa Kawahara

Voice actress Kaori Sadohara (Date A Live’s Tamae Okamine, Isuca’s Tamako) has announced her marriage to 41 year-old voice actor Yoshihisa Kawahara. The two had worked together on Nichijou – My Ordinary Life, where she was Haruna Annaka (the girl with the inordinately large ribbon) and he was Koujirou Sasahara (the aristocratic kid with the glasses and jabot). This of course was too cute for Nichijou manga Keiichi Arawi not to revive series for a joke.

“A Place Further Than the Universe” Explores Its Characters’ Motivations in 2nd PV

“A Place Further Than the Universe” Explores Its Characters’ Motivations in 2nd PV

Original TV anime with animation by MADHOUSE embarks on an adventure on January 02, 2018

A new trailer is now available online for A Place Further Than the Universe (known as Uchuu Yorimo Tooi Basho in Japanese), an upcoming original TV anime about a group of high school girls making a voyage to Antarctica.

The trailer explores the motivations of the four main characters and samples the ending theme of the series, a song performed by saya that is entitled “Uchuu o Miagete” (“Look Up at the Universe”).

A Place Further Than the Universe is directed by Atsuko Ishizuka and features animation by MADHOUSE. The series will broadcast on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and other stations beginning on January 02, 2018, and it will also be available via streaming on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes A Place Further Than the Universe as follows:

Our first step was always curiosity. For unseen sights, unheard sounds, unsmelled scents, untouched textures, untasted tastes, and unfelt excitement. We travel to find the bits and pieces that we’d forgotten at some point. Howling at 40 degrees, going mad at 50 degrees, screaming at 60 degrees, to the primordial lands beyond the great oceans, at the edge of the earth, far removed from human civilization. This is the story of four girls who travel to the Antarctic, further even than outer space.
